Senior Developer (AI and Agentforce)

Location: Remote in Canada, limited to Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario. Travel of up to 25% may be required for customer projects and company events.

What you will do

• Build, test, and enhance Agentforce agents, workflows, and automations for customer-facing and internal experiences.
• Design and build scalable, secure Salesforce Data 360 architectures, including DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution, and real-time data activation patterns.
• Prototype and evaluate emerging AI technologies adjacent to Salesforce, including unstructured DMOs, retrievers, and search indexes.
• Develop solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript, using AI development tools and assistants.
• Engage directly with customers and project teams to define requirements and deliver complex Salesforce and AI solutions.
• Stay current with Salesforce and Agentforce releases, maintain relevant certifications, and contribute to Salesforce and AI communities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Apex coding patterns, best practices, software development principles, programming fundamentals, and object-oriented programming.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, Git, and source tracking.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems through REST APIs.
• Experience building solutions on Salesforce Data 360 and building Agentforce agents, workflows, and automations.
• Curiosity about and hands-on experimentation with AI technologies beyond core Salesforce, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and emerging tooling.
• Ability to learn new technical skills quickly to solve business problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data 360 unstructured DMOs, retrievers, search indexes, RAG, and identity resolution.
• Experience with Agentforce Agent Script and certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, or Claude Certified Architect.
• Consulting or professional services delivery experience.
• Experience prototyping with Anthropic, OpenAI, or other LLM providers, vector databases, or agent orchestration frameworks outside Salesforce.
• Experience with additional Salesforce Clouds, Enhanced Chat, Omni-channel, Amazon Connect, or other telephony platforms.
• Experience writing, testing, and deploying AWS Lambda functions.
• Proficiency with Claude Code or similar AI coding agents.
