What you will do

• Lead and manage financial services audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop audit plans, risk assessments, and audit strategies, and oversee audit procedures and timely reporting.
• Review workpapers and ensure documentation complies with professional standards, laws, and regulations.
• Build client relationships, resolve issues, and provide recommendations on financial reporting and internal controls.
• Advise clients on regulatory matters and financial reporting best practices.
• Supervise and mentor audit professionals while promoting continuous improvement and high performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years of financial services industry experience, including private equity, hedge fund, and broker-dealer experience.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and financial services regulatory requirements.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
