Location: New York City, NY; other available locations include Uniondale, NY and Iselin, NJ.

Salary: $112,500–$168,000 in New York, NY; $108,000–$161,200 in Uniondale, NY; $103,500–$154,500 in Iselin, NJ.

What you will do

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for emerging company clients in technology, food and beverage, health and beauty, professional services, and other high-growth industries.
• Oversee the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and personal income tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, research complex tax issues, and provide recommendations.
• Understand clients’ goals, industries, and market trends while directing teams in client service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to expand services, grow the emerging companies client base, and improve tax reporting and compliance processes.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and support professionals within the emerging companies group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of tax experience focused on the core industries of emerging companies.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
