Software Engineering Intern (Cloud Platform)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; full-time onsite internship

Expected salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour. The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Develop frontend functionality and interactive design-visualization interfaces for the next-generation Customer Engagement Portal.
• Support backend API development in cloud and containerized environments.
• Analyze and optimize application performance and user experience using monitoring tools and user feedback.
• Participate in frontend and backend code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions based on user needs.
• Collaborate with hardware validation and design teams to improve the silicon-validation platform and support customer validation workflows.
• Maintain documentation and reference implementations and support platform API releases and customer integrations.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore at the time of application and actively pursue a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field through an accredited degree program during the internship.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing.
• Have written and verbal fluency in English.
• Be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
• Project management skills, innovation, solution execution, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience with real-time applications such as WebSockets, real-time collaboration, or streaming data.
• Experience with full-stack web development, cloud platforms, containerized environments, APIs, databases, authentication, or visualization tools.
