Senior Software Engineer, Developer AI

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's HQ in San Mateo, California, United States.

Annual OTE pay range: $180,000–$280,000 USD.

What you will do

• Build AI infrastructure, tools, and agentic workflows that increase the productivity of hirify.global engineers.
• Design systems that run AI agents asynchronously at scale while balancing security, cost, and usability.
• Define the Developer AI roadmap, lead planning, and help grow the team.
• Create evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance.
• Partner with security, product, and infrastructure teams to launch and support services.
• Document and teach AI best practices across the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience shipping production systems, including agentic or automation-heavy workflows.
• Strong hands-on coding ability in Go and Python.
• Experience building systems that interact with APIs, tools, and external services, beyond prompt-based interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to define metrics and rigorously evaluate system performance.
• Experience writing clear technical design documents and driving alignment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agent frameworks or orchestration systems.
• Experience in monorepo environments.
• Experience working on developer productivity tools.
• Startup or early-stage team experience.
