Associate Director, Business Data Office, Data Integrity & Operations (Data Management)

What you will do

• Own daily MDM platform operations, including data ingestion, processing, supply, diffing, and reconciliation.
• Lead end-to-end data request and issue management through Jira Service Management, including prioritization, resolution, root-cause linkage, and backlog reduction.
• Maintain data integrity across business domains and manage quality rules, metrics, exception rates, resolution times, data health trends, and control effectiveness.
• Lead root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation of systemic data issues.
• Deliver data requirements across projects and change initiatives, including integrity controls, lineage, quality rules, and documentation.
• Define data standards, improve MDM and issue-management processes, increase automation, and report on operational performance.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in data management, data operations, or data architecture within large, complex enterprise environments.
• Experience owning operational data processes, including data supply pipelines, MDM processing, and issue-management frameworks.
• Experience leading data workstreams within projects or change initiatives and delivering data requirements end to end.
• Strong expertise in master and reference data management, data quality frameworks, metadata, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management or equivalent operational workflow and issue-tracking tools.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong hands-on experience with complex, high-volume datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or similar tools for analysis, validation, and automation.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end data flows, lineage, transformations, integration patterns, and control points.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, mentoring, and cross-team ways-of-working experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Informatica, Collibra, Purview, Alation, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, risk, or compliance.
