Location: West Point, Pennsylvania, United States of America. On-site manufacturing role; no relocation, no travel, and no visa sponsorship. Available to residents of the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Salary range: $39,908–$111,111 per year.

What you will do

• Provide on-the-floor support for operational and technical issues affecting vaccine manufacturing at the West Point site.
• Investigate deviations by determining root causes, corrective and preventive actions, event scope, and product impact; complete investigational test protocols when applicable.
• Complete process and manufacturing improvement projects focused on Right-First-Time performance, deviation reduction, yield, cost, and processing cycle time.
• Support safety, environmental, compliance, and operational objectives while collaborating with managers, operators, mechanics, maintenance, automation, technology, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Execute assigned projects and studies using Lean Six Sigma tools, provide progress updates to a mentor, and develop personal and professional skills.

Requirements

• Be pursuing an associate, BS, or MS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related Engineering; Chemistry; Biology; Biotechnology; Microbiology; Virology; or Business and Engineering.
• Demonstrate communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Be prepared to comply with Good Manufacturing Practice gowning restrictions, including removing jewelry, makeup, and false nails for applicable activities.

Nice to have

• Experience in biologics, vaccine, or bulk sterile manufacturing facilities.
• Experience using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including leading small projects.
• Experience in problem solving and/or troubleshooting.
