Claims Adjuster - Casualty

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; hybrid. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship may be considered at QBE’s discretion.

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve claims while providing high-quality claims handling service and minimising leakage.
• Investigate coverage issues and ensure the company’s liability remains aligned with contractual commitments.
• Triage, reserve, manage, and settle claim files accurately, economically, fairly, and within appropriate timeframes.
• Manage an independent caseload, prioritise new and existing work, and transition existing cases into the department.
• Prepare ad hoc claims reports for stakeholders and collaborate as part of a market-leading claims team.
• Support Operational Excellence, Analytics, and Automation-related projects.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial claims handling or as a fee earner.
• Experience handling PI or casualty claims.
• Proven experience dealing with policy coverage.
• Experience conducting liability negotiations.
• Ability to efficiently manage an independent caseload.
• Excellent investigative skills.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
