Operational Resilience Analyst

What you will do

• Build and maintain dashboards, metrics, reports, and insights for governance forums, management reporting, and operational resilience oversight.
• Analyse data to identify patterns, emerging risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities across resilience workstreams.
• Prepare governance materials, reporting packs, working files, and recurring reporting artefacts while maintaining version control and traceability.
• Support automation and the implementation of reporting and insight solutions, including AI-enabled or agentic approaches where appropriate.
• Prepare risk and assurance evidence, track actions, support audits, and improve risk and issue management administration.
• Deliver insightful reporting across the business unit's RCSA profile and provide recommendations for planning and prioritisation.

Requirements

• Experience in data analytics and reporting, governance reporting, and risk management.
• Solid experience in the general insurance or finance industry.
• Tertiary degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to build, maintain, and interpret dashboards and reports using applicable reporting tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Data quality mindset, disciplined reconciliation, controls thinking, and continuous improvement orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured delivery cadence.
• Curiosity and innovation in applying AI and modern tooling to reporting and resilience outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in operational resilience, including business continuity, third-party risk management, or IT service continuity management.
• Experience supporting recurring governance activities and coordinating reporting inputs across stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, applicable reporting tools, and structured datasets.
