What you will do

• Lead multi-skilled agile teams in designing and delivering high-quality healthcare solutions.
• Work with customer architects to agree functional and non-functional designs.
• Advise customers and managers on estimated effort, technical implications, and design complexity.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff, including supporting performance and career development.
• Develop technology policies and standards, share knowledge, and mentor colleagues.
• Advise on new technologies and approaches while providing technical direction and leadership.

Requirements

• Successful delivery of software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications.
• Understanding of whole-solution architecture concepts, with the ability to communicate and negotiate them with customer architects.
• Experience prioritising customers' non-functional concerns and incorporating them into application design.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Ability to communicate technical designs clearly and simply in conversation, documentation, and presentations.
• Ability to make effective decisions in fast-moving delivery environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members and the wider community.

• Accountability for technology delivery challenges of different sizes, including projects and multi-team programmes.
• Proactively developing business across an account with sales and account managers.
• Experience managing others, setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews.
