Technical Support Specialist (Biology)

Location: Remote, home-based in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, or Portugal. Candidates must have the legal right to work in their country of residence. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30, 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Manage daily customer service operations covering initial inquiries, order placement, complaints, and technical support.
• Provide primary technical advice, interpret customer requirements, and align proposed solutions with business unit capabilities.
• Work with Sales Account Managers to develop customer-focused technical solutions and support regional business growth.
• Occasionally attend trade shows and technical events and deliver technical presentations to customers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a relevant life science field.
• Strong hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology, protein science, cell biology, or related disciplines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and presentation skills for technical content.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and action-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DNA cloning, plasmid preparation, protein expression, protein purification, Western Blot, or ELISA.
• Fluency in French or German.
• Previous industry experience in a similar role.
