Client Associate (IR Licensed) Wood Gundy

Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. On-site full-time, Monday through Friday.

What you will do

• Work closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage client portfolios and develop new business.
• Engage directly with high-net-worth clients, provide support, uncover business opportunities, and improve the client experience.
• Anticipate client needs, communicate promptly with the team, and build trusted client relationships.
• Identify activities, processes, and opportunities that improve the client experience.
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to grow the network and generate future opportunities.

Requirements

• Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
• Financial services and/or brokerage industry experience.
• Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.
• Client-focused approach with the ability to identify appropriate solutions and build trusted relationships.
• Motivation to achieve goals and deliver strong results.
• Ability to understand different perspectives, listen, and learn from others.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to support decision-making.
• High standards, genuine care in professional relationships, and alignment with the organization's values.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
