What you will do

• Provide assurance and consulting services to industry-specific middle-market insurance clients.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges.
• Develop and implement testing for internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, engagement staffing, billings, collections, quality, timely delivery, and client profitability.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, analysis, and insight.
• Build internal and external relationships, support business development, and mentor team members through the hirify.global Care and Teach philosophy.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience.
• A four-year degree.
• CPA certification.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and communicate effectively.
• Management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning, ethical conduct, quality, urgency, and timely project completion.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; a master’s or advanced degree is desirable.
• Eight or more years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Experience with insurance companies or agencies, preferably property and casualty insurance.
