Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical Seals)

Location: Fully onsite in Pasadena, Texas, United States. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the facility. Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-4:30 PM, with regular onsite attendance required.

What you will do

• Review and process application requests and support customer requirements through the Regional Engineering team.
• Prepare detailed drawing office requests and application instructions for general arrangement and detail drawings.
• Use CAD to create proposal drawings and coordinate with global drawing offices.
• Select and apply mechanical seal products, complete engineering calculations, and generate specifications for standard and custom products.
• Provide technical support for Sales, Service, troubleshooting, commissioning issues, and customer applications.
• Process engineering changes, approve or reject fabricated parts, manage workload, and follow engineering, HSE, and continuous-improvement procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with mechanical seals and/or rotating equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of personal computing, CAD, preferably Solid Edge, and application software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Pasadena, Texas, while living within commuting distance of the facility.
