Corporate Counsel Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Execute comprehensive reviews and lead negotiations for contracts, including high-value partnerships, vendor agreements, and complex financial transactions.
• Support legal strategy and achieve operational targets aligned with organizational objectives.
• Research complex legal issues and provide practical advice to senior management and stakeholders.
• Advise on employment law matters, including contract drafting, termination, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Implement and maintain corporate governance practices aligned with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and support legal training initiatives to build a legal-aware culture.

Requirements

• J.D. degree with active membership in at least one state bar.
• 5–7 years of relevant prior experience within a trust company and/or technology company is strongly preferred.
• Experience handling large, complex transactions.
• Strong communication, research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects efficiently and driving complex projects to completion.
