Senior Data/AI Architect (Lead / Principal / Director)

Location: Singapore; ability to travel across the Asia-Pacific region required.

Salary: SGD 260,000–285,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Define and advise on modern data architectures aligned with business goals, AI initiatives, and analytics.
• Guide adoption of cloud-native and hybrid data platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Lead data modeling, warehousing, lakehouse, data mesh, data fabric, and serverless architecture strategies.
• Develop data governance frameworks, security policies, compliance standards, metadata, cataloguing, lineage, quality, accuracy, and reliability strategies.
• Design AI/ML-ready data architectures and advise on real-time streaming, data integration, graph database, and NoSQL solutions.
• Advise executive stakeholders, collaborate with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business leaders, and assess emerging technologies and industry practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10–16 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud data solutions.
• Ability to travel across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and related platforms.
• Strong experience with data governance, master data management, and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI-ready data architectures and ML workflows.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT strategies, data integration, and automation.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architecture frameworks.
• Experience with real-time streaming technologies, including Kafka, Kinesis, and Pub/Sub.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Data Mesh and Data Fabric architectures.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Neo4j, Cassandra, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, and data ethics.
