Summer 2027 Process Engineer Intern - Master's (Santa Clara, CA)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; onsite internship. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Assist with laboratory projects and develop analysis methods for complex issues.
• Conduct parts and materials analysis using SEM, laser microscopy, and other analysis tools.
• Work with project owners on hardware development communication, troubleshooting, and functionality testing.
• Support experiment data acquisition, processing, and reporting.
• Develop surface treatments for equipment components, including recycle cleaning and passivation processes.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a Master's degree in a science or engineering field such as materials science, chemistry, or physics; PhD students are also considered.
• Hands-on experience with materials characterization.
• Familiarity with materials processing.
• Be in good academic standing at the university; a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
