Intern, Facilities Engineering (Semiconductor)

Location: Farmers Branch, TX, United States; full-time, day shift, onsite.

What you will do

• Assist Facilities Engineers with operating and maintaining electrical distribution, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, plumbing and water treatment, emergency power, and Building Automation Systems.
• Support facility improvement and capital projects through engineering studies, data collection, documentation, equipment installation, upgrades, commissioning, and tracking schedules, budgets, and contractors.
• Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance, review maintenance records, investigate equipment failures, and support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collect and analyze facility-system data, develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, and identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Support safety programs, environmental compliance, inspections, audits, standard operating procedures, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Update engineering drawings, equipment records, technical documentation, preventive maintenance procedures, asset databases, and document-control records.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Interest in the semiconductor industry.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Graduation expected in December 2026 or May 2027.
• Minimum 2–4 years of related experience.
