Business Systems Associate

What you will do

• Provide frontline support for the internally developed MES, including ticket management, issue resolution, bug identification, incident support, and coordination with the project lead.
• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, developers, the MES Product Owner, shop-floor users, and operations leadership.
• Elicit and document business requirements using BABOK techniques, prioritize feature backlog items, and guide stakeholders through the software development lifecycle.
• Lead small to medium-sized IT and operations projects, create test plans, conduct or support testing, and maintain system performance and stability.
• Analyze data, investigate root causes, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives for MES and related processes.
• Create documentation, communicate system status and upcoming changes, and collaborate on automation initiatives including BI reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience, or at least 4 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in a business analyst, technical support, or operations systems role.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools, particularly DevOps, Excel, Power BI, T-SQL, and Visio.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps workflows, support ticket pipelines, software testing, test-plan creation, and bug documentation.
• Experience in an environment that creates or maintains websites.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing principles, and Lean methodology tools.
• Understanding of business systems architecture and the ability to translate technical data and system changes for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, planning, project management, facilitation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements of the Controlled Goods Program.
• Must be proactive, resourceful, able to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment, challenge the status quo, and use data to support recommendations.
