Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis (Databricks)

What you will do

• Advise on and provide technical leadership for business application development and the adoption of new technologies.
• Gather complex requirements from business partners, lead solution design discussions, and document scope, requirements, and quality assurance needs.
• Design client-focused solutions and support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.
• Work primarily with the Rates desk on a cross-asset risk management platform, with opportunities to support other asset classes.
• Provide guidance to technology and project professionals and resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
• Independently analyze ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impact and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a BSA/BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.
• Experience in data analytics, data modeling, business intelligence, or related fields, with a strong focus on building data products and effective analytical data models.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Genie Agents, and Databricks SQL.
• Strong technical skills in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience supporting or delivering AI/ML or generative AI use cases, including understanding how data quality, modeling, and business requirements support effective AI solutions.
• Advanced domain knowledge in Capital Markets and Financial Risk, including derivative pricing and related analytics.
• Experience delivering end-to-end business and technology solutions independently with business stakeholders and development teams.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, process mapping, solution design, stakeholder communication, problem solving, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate detailed information clearly, and work effectively with diverse teams.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of Confluence and Jira experience in an Agile environment.
