Product Manager (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Remote, United States; based at hirify.global, Inc., Mobile, Alabama. May require interaction with out-of-town clients, attendance at trade shows up to 35% of the time, and regular air and automobile travel.

What you will do

• Manage the product or product set as a line of business across the full life cycle, including resource planning, design approval, development supervision, and implementation of application user interfaces and web-based solutions.
• Coordinate with senior leadership, product engineering, sales, marketing, finance, implementation, and support to deliver new offerings on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain product roadmaps and strategy based on customer input, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and emerging trends.
• Define product requirements, prioritize enhancements through a consistent objective process, and collaborate with technology teams on new feature development.
• Present products to customers and prospects, gather the voice of the customer, and act as a product evangelist and subject matter expert.
• Support go-to-market strategies, budget forecasting, product manager and analyst training, healthcare industry best practices, and strategic corporate planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Health Information Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or a related field; revenue cycle experience is preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong ability to interface with the business, suggest solutions, work independently, and make decisions with little or no supervision.
• Good customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient spoken, read, and written English.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and other office equipment repetitively, and to see and hear clearly with or without aids.
• Ability to travel regularly by airplane and automobile and interact with out-of-town clients and trade shows up to 35% of the time.
• Background check and drug test required.

Nice to have

• Past product management experience.
• Pragmatic Institute Product Manager certification.
• Advanced education or a combination of experience and advanced education in place of the stated education and experience requirements.
