Senior Manager, Governance & Control (US) (Fintech)

Location: Remote, with the role associated with Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America; occasional domestic travel is required.

Salary: $115,440–$173,160 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead a complex governance and control function covering significant risk, complexity, and scope.
• Develop and implement an integrated governance and control strategy aligned with business and enterprise requirements.
• Lead regulatory change management, policy and procedure implementation, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Oversee risk identification, monitoring, escalation, compliance activities, remediation plans, and management reporting.
• Partner with senior leadership and control functions on strategic planning, resource allocation, operational efficiency, and emerging risks.
• Hire, coach, develop, and manage a high-performing team, including objectives, performance reviews, compensation decisions, and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep industry and business knowledge of risk and control functions.
• Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures, strategies, tactics, risk management standards, regulations, and mitigation.
• Experience managing budgets and resource allocation, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, reporting techniques, and MS Office.
• Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate programs and projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form, collaborate across teams, work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and establish goals supporting strategic plans and initiatives.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
