Manager - Risk and Control (Banking)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Flexible and remote working options are available subject to eligibility and job requirements.

What you will do

• Manage internal operational risk assessments, policy frameworks, and key risk indicators for assigned GBS areas.
• Oversee the risk and control self-assessment programme, including control testing and deployment in line with the Bank’s Operational Risk policies.
• Manage due diligence reviews and challenge sessions to assess process and control robustness.
• Track operational loss reporting, booking, and monitoring in consultation with GORM.
• Oversee the GBS business continuity management framework, including impact assessments, recovery sites, and disaster drills.
• Organize and supervise team activities, manage employee performance, and ensure delivery of business plans in line with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in operations or banking services, including at least 3 years in risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Working knowledge of banking systems.
• Analytical and logical thinking skills.
