Global Capital Markets Relationship Manager II (Global Capital Markets)

Location: Hybrid position in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.

Salary: $89,000–$148,300 annual USD.

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and daily administration for Global Capital Markets accounts with moderate to significant complexity and risk.
• Monitor account systems, databases, controls, cash flows, fee billing, reporting, and transaction administration.
• Review legal documents and agreements, coordinate regulatory and risk activities, and work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, attorneys, advisors, and service partners.
• Research and resolve client service and control issues while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Support the structuring and closing of transactions, sales calls, fee proposals, client meetings, presentations, and new business opportunities.
• Identify revenue opportunities, support business products and processes, lead projects when assigned, and provide coverage or mentoring for other associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of client service experience in Global Capital Markets products or markets, or a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 2 years of this client service experience.
• High proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software.
• Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents.
• Experience calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
• Familiarity with corporate structures, relevant laws, and regulations.
• Proven problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, and internal control standards and escalate risk-related issues when necessary.

Nice to have

• CCTS (Certified Corporate Trust Specialist) certification.
• Working knowledge of pertinent specialized internal software applications.
• Managerial or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated sense of ownership in jobs or projects.
