Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory - 2027 Summer Associate (Intern)

Location: Chicago, IL; willingness to travel up to 25%; legal right to work in the United States required without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Hourly range: $35–40/hr.

What you will do

• Support Corporate Finance–Transaction Advisory client service teams on buy-side and sell-side diligence engagements.
• Manage multiple engagement tasks, including financial modeling, analysis, and client presentations.
• Perform quality of earnings, financial trend, working capital, benchmark, financial statement, and business plan analyses.
• Collaborate with Transaction Advisory and BRG experts, professionals from other firms, and client contacts.
• Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Assist with marketing, client pitches, product and practice development, purchase price adjustment issues, and deal structuring insights.

Requirements

• Progression toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Desire and ability to manage processes and other staff.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with senior management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work demands.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented consulting environment and demonstrate professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity.
• Legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
