2027 Winter Outsourced Finance and Accounting Consultant Intern

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; principally in-person Workplace for Your Day model with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.

Salary: $36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide ongoing, recurring accounting assistance and financial advisory services to clients.
• Perform monthly financial close, financial account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, sales, payroll, and property tax filings, and Forms 1099.
• Evaluate business and accounting processes and procedures and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Collaborate with audit, tax, wealth management, management consulting, and other practice areas.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail orientation, leadership, problem-solving, communication, critical-thinking, organizational, technical, and analytical skills.
• Currently pursuing a degree and planning to return to school after the internship.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required, except for qualified candidates bilingual in Japanese and English or Chinese and English.

Nice to have

• On track to complete the degree and supporting credits required to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining a CPA license.
