Derivatives Electrical Installation Designer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Design and validate electrical harnesses and equipment installations from architecture and detailed design through manufacturing support and in-service activities.
• Translate electrical requirements into physically feasible and integrable aircraft installation solutions.
• Define the location, routing, and integration of electrical elements and equipment while considering aircraft installation constraints and design principles.
• Develop electrical installation designs in CATIA according to applicable regulations, processes, methods, tools, and procedures.
• Collaborate with electrical definition teams and other engineering departments to align electrical requirements with their physical implementation.
• Interface with technical stakeholders and adapt installation solutions to changes during aircraft design, manufacturing, and in-service phases.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with CATIA, particularly in installation design and integration activities.
• High adaptability and an open-minded approach to evolving technical topics and changing requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a networked environment and interact with different departments and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, discuss technical solutions, and propose new ideas.
• Professional-level Spanish and approximately B2-level English for meetings, professional interaction, and transnational projects.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in electrical installation design within the aeronautical sector.
• Experience working in complex aircraft integration environments.
