Research Associate (Clinical Trials)

Location: Bryan, Texas, United States. Full-time staff position; may require weekend or after-hours work and travel as needed.

What you will do

• Design, plan, conduct, and coordinate experiments supporting research projects.
• Apply standard research techniques, maintain detailed data records, and evaluate and summarize experimental results.
• Install, operate, and repair research equipment; perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical evaluation using laboratory and computer equipment.
• Prepare scientific and client-oriented publications, write funding proposals, and maintain financial accounts for research projects.
• Train undergraduate and graduate students and laboratory, technical, or field personnel involved in research.
• Communicate with industry sponsors and vendors to keep clinical trials on track, meet enrollment expectations, and maintain Good Clinical Practice compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related health sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience in industry clinical trials.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with clients and staff.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of R, C++, Python, and/or Java.
• Minor in Computer Science and/or Data Science.
