What you will do

• Coordinate participant recruitment, scheduling, and data collection for studies of real-time social interaction and communication.
• Operate and maintain equipment used to record participant interactions.
• Collect, organize, manage, and analyze research data using computational and machine learning methods.
• Support data interpretation, literature reviews, reports, presentations, publications, and grant documents.
• Recruit, train, and support undergraduate research assistants and laboratory personnel.
• Coordinate research schedules, laboratory operations, meetings, communications, IRB submissions, regulatory documentation, website updates, recruitment materials, and approved outreach content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Two years of relevant research experience.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting or supporting human subject research.
• Experience performing quantitative data analysis using Python and/or R.
• Experience coordinating complex research studies or projects involving multiple data types or research methods.
• Experience with neuroimaging data collection and/or analysis.
• Knowledge of or experience with computational modeling, machine learning, and natural language processing methods.
• Coursework, research experience, or demonstrated knowledge in social neuroscience, interpersonal communication, naturalistic social interaction, or a related area.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, time management, and ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with participants, faculty, staff, and students; work independently and collaboratively; exercise sound judgment; follow research protocols; and maintain confidentiality when handling research information and participant data.
