Senior Web Developer (Angular)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; other location: Porto, Portugal. Hybrid work.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using Angular.
• Build reusable, maintainable, scalable, responsive, and user-friendly UI components.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services while collaborating with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, architects, and QA engineers.
• Contribute to software design discussions, technical decisions, security, performance, accessibility, and application architecture.
• Troubleshoot bugs and performance bottlenecks, perform code reviews, document solutions, and promote development best practices.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests; participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience and minimum 5 years of hands-on Angular development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on Angular experience, preferably Angular 12 or later, with deep knowledge of components, modules, services, dependency injection, routing, guards, pipes, directives, and reactive forms.
• Strong experience with RxJS and reactive programming concepts, plus state management using NgRx, Redux patterns, or similar solutions.
• Understanding of lazy loading, performance optimization, code splitting, and modern web application architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience delivering complex web applications from design to production.
• Experience with Agile development environments, automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional teams; independent, self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, results-oriented, and strong in problem-solving and communication.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
