Senior Angular Frontend Developer (Digital Modernization)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: €4,830–€5,670 per month on a B2B contract, or €2,500–€2,850 net per month on a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain sophisticated frontend applications using Angular 19 or higher for large-scale digital modernization initiatives.
• Integrate and consume backend APIs using HTTPClient, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.
• Implement organizational design systems and UI standards across platforms.
• Apply frontend architecture, code quality, accessibility, maintainability, and performance best practices.
• Implement and maintain unit and automated tests with Jasmine, Karma, and Cypress.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working on significant Angular projects.
• Strong mastery of Angular modules, components, services, routing, RxJS, forms, directives, and pipes.
• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3/SASS/SCSS, PrimeNG, and Bootstrap.
• Proven experience integrating and consuming backend APIs and services within frontend applications.
• Experience working with design systems and applying frontend best practices for maintainability and accessibility.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
