Security & Compliance Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with office presence in Milan, Italy.

Salary: €70,000–100,000 per year, plus meaningful equity.

hirify.global is building an AI platform for legal work used by more than 20,000 legal professionals across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Bulgaria.

What you will do

• Build hirify.global’s security function and establish security foundations across engineering.
• Design and operate continuous vulnerability management, including vulnerability detection, prioritization, and patching.
• Own ISO 27001, GDPR, and related security compliance across policies, controls, documentation, and audits.
• Make pragmatic decisions about implementing, accepting, and containing risk, and document trade-offs for engineering and leadership.
• Support internal teams in meeting customer security and compliance requirements.
• Work with engineering leadership, IT, and Infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security compliance or information security.
• Experience in a technology company with 200–500 people is preferred within the experience profile, or experience in fintech, payments, or banking.
• Hands-on experience leading ISO 27001 certifications or audits.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR.
• Experience designing or running vulnerability management and patching processes.
• Ability to make pragmatic risk trade-offs and explain them clearly to engineering and leadership.
• Ability to build durable processes and define an approach to security in a product company.
• Fluent English.
