Network & Cybersecurity Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Carate Brianza, Italy; hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote. National travel to customer sites is required for up to 15% of the time.

What you will do

• Manage, configure, and maintain on-premises, edge, and cloud network infrastructure.
• Administer firewalls, load balancers, VPN tunnels, and related network security controls.
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot TCP/IP and routing issues, and resolve connectivity problems.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and support identity and access management solutions such as OAuth2.0.
• Collaborate with development and robotics teams to implement secure network solutions.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site installation and troubleshooting when issues cannot be resolved remotely.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with or strong knowledge of firewalls and load balancing.
• Interest in cybersecurity, identity management, secure protocols, and network hardening.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS certificates and identity protocols such as OAuth2.0.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site at the Carate Brianza headquarters four days per week and willingness to travel nationally up to 15% of the time. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required. A driving licence is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Wireshark, MikroTik RouterOS, or Barracuda firewalls.
• Experience with on-premises, air-gapped, or isolated network environments.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform networking, Cloud SecOps, or cloud-based IAM.
• Familiarity with identity management platforms such as Keycloak.
