Desktop Support Specialist I - Enterprise Visibility RTLS - Digital and Technology Partners - Onsite (RTLS)

Location: 100% onsite at Mount Sinai Hospital, 1468 Madison Avenue, New York, NY, with travel to assigned Mount Sinai locations across the five boroughs and other listed sites. A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required for travel to MSSN and Staten Island.

Salary: $27.3863–$42.959 hourly.

What you will do

• Support RTLS hardware, application software, RFID tags, sensors, probes, and environmental monitoring systems.
• Review emails, create and maintain ServiceNow tickets, investigate incidents and requests, and provide end-user support.
• Receive, test, configure, inventory, distribute, recover, and process RMAs for RTLS hardware.
• Manage asset batteries, RFID tag installation, battery replacement, asset reconciliation, and temperature-control compliance activities.
• Coordinate new asset-tagging requests, including training needs, user IDs, quotes, requisitions, purchase orders, shipments, and tagging schedules.
• Design and build asset-tagging setups in the Cetani application, test applications, maintain accurate data, and provide assignment updates.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related area, or a four-year high school diploma/GED plus three years of satisfactory experience in the described area.
• At least one year of full-time experience in computer repair, maintenance, and installation.
• Strong customer service, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify problem trends from phone-call volume and online ticketing entries and provide professional phone or desk-side technical support.
• Ability to manage changing workloads, multitask, remain productive during slow periods, and maintain patience and professionalism under stress.
• Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills; advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and support, troubleshooting, and deployment of iOS and Android mobile devices.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and DHCP, plus demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory and basic user and group administration.
• Hands-on experience with an ITSM or ticketing system; ServiceNow is preferred for the system experience.
• Flexibility regarding duties and hours, willingness to travel to offsite locations, a valid driver's license, and a reliable personal vehicle.
