Full Stack Data Engineer/Developer (Consultant, Data & Analytics)

Location: Remote for candidates residing in Alabama, California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel to client sites or company meetings is required.

Salary: $96,132–$138,000 hiring range; overall salary range $96,132–$162,462, with a midpoint of $124,971. Discretionary performance-based bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines integrating APIs, application services, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Develop transformations, normalization routines, queries, processing jobs, datasets, and data products for reporting, dashboards, operational metrics, trend analysis, and investigations.
• Analyze data quality, investigate cross-system discrepancies, identify anomalies, and improve data consistency and availability.
• Support entity resolution by matching records, addressing inconsistent identifiers, reducing duplicates, and evaluating confidence levels, false matches, and missed matches.
• Develop or support algorithms and machine-learning approaches for record matching and analytical outcomes, including structured and applicable biometric information.
• Design and deploy large-scale AWS data applications while supporting migrations, application changes, production troubleshooting, secure engineering, CI/CD, Agile ceremonies, and federal cloud security and compliance.

Requirements

• At least six years of Information Technology experience focused on development projects using DevSecOps and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with full-stack engineering, including database development and integration plus server-side and client-side application development and integration.
• At least three years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS.
• At least three years of software engineering experience related to front-end and back-end applications and/or data services.
• Experience deploying large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data applications and designing solutions in complex, heterogeneous AWS environments.
• Experience performing automation and engineering tasks involving implementation, data, infrastructure and operations, and security in USCIS cloud environments.
• Public Trust clearance is required; the clearance process will be initiated after selection.
• Required competency proficiency is practical application: independently completing required tasks while occasionally receiving expert support.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person, work in an office environment, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
