Regional Applications Specialist - Data Centers

Location: Remote within Texas, United States; approximately 50% travel within North America.

Salary: $93,530–$137,181 annually, plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise on water treatment for data center cooling towers, closed-loop systems, adiabatic cooling, and liquid cooling.
• Partner with account managers and customer engineering teams to design, optimize, commission, and execute treatment programs for hydronic and technical loop systems.
• Review system designs, operating data, and P&IDs; identify risks, improvement opportunities, and root causes of reliability or efficiency issues.
• Conduct best-practice gap analyses, document recommendations, and quantify water, energy, and operational savings.
• Lead innovation pilots, technical trials, and market trials; contribute to technical proposals, standardized enterprise solutions, case studies, white papers, and trade show presentations.
• Support customer program reviews and provide training and technical guidance to internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial water treatment or data center cooling operations.
• Strong knowledge of water chemistry, corrosion, fouling, and microbiological control.
• Experience commissioning, treating, and monitoring facility and technical loop systems within data centers.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within North America.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and communicate technical recommendations confidently to customers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, sales, and operations teams.
