Innovation Operations Manager (Account Integrity & Security)

Location: Hybrid role based within commuting distance of hirify.global's Brooklyn office, with office attendance once or twice per week. Remote candidates outside commuting distance may be considered case-by-case, with occasional travel to the office expected. The role is limited to U.S. locations.

Salary: $129,000–$175,000 annual in Geo-1 locations, or $116,000–$158,000 annual in Geo-2 locations.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-vertical investigations across fraud, account integrity, content abuse, and security signals.
• Use SQL, Looker, and advanced analytics to identify fraud patterns, quantify impact, and produce executive-level reports and remediation roadmaps.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering on feature engineering, labeling strategies, evaluation criteria, and experiment design for fraud models.
• Translate investigation findings into tooling, workflow, logging, observability, policy, and risk-control improvements.
• Lead cross-functional risk assessments and communicate technical issues, trade-offs, plans, and outcomes to Product, Design, Engineering, Legal, Support, and other stakeholders.
• Develop playbooks, runbooks, documentation, and training while mentoring investigators and leading investigation workstreams without direct reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or Trust & Safety investigations within e-commerce, marketplace, payments, or fintech environments.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional investigations across multiple fraud surfaces and stakeholder groups.
• Advanced SQL and data visualization skills, such as Looker or Tableau, with experience analyzing large, complex datasets and quantifying impact.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a record of translating investigation findings into scalable roadmap, policy, or tooling improvements.
• Initiative and ownership in ambiguous environments, including anticipating dependencies and trade-offs and developing clear, actionable plans.
