Associate CB Netherlands (Corporate Banking)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working model with some days remote and some days onsite.

What you will do

• Support Senior Bankers and Vice Presidents in managing relationships with large corporate clients headquartered in the Benelux.
• Support the origination and execution of transactions across syndicated loans, debt capital markets, structured finance, global transaction banking, export finance, cash management, rates, foreign exchange, and other Global Markets products.
• Prepare credit risk analyses and present cases to credit committees.
• Perform financial and strategic analysis of sectors, competitors, and clients.
• Prepare client presentations, business plans, and profitability and revenue monitoring; support client pitches, credit documentation, and risk and business committees.
• Manage junior staff on KYC and compliance requirements and train and mentor analysts, graduates, and interns.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in Corporate & Investment Banking at a top-tier international bank.
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably a Master’s degree, with a strong academic record.
• Preferably a degree in business administration, finance, accounting, and/or economics.
• Fluent English.
• Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proactive, autonomous, entrepreneurial, and flexible mindset.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of hierarchy and with product teams; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Dutch, French, and/or Spanish language skills.
