Technical Engineer IV

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States of America; requires in-office work four days every week.

Salary: $150,155.00 per year.

What you will do

• Implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions.
• Design infrastructure architectures, research and develop new or expanded systems, and create technology standards and policies.
• Analyze user requirements and operational constraints and perform unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Engage with business partners to clarify problems and opportunities and elicit business requirements.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and resources, review documentation and proposed changes, and mentor less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
• Maintain application, systems, development-environment, and vendor-technology knowledge while following risk, regulatory, audit, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Five years of experience in the offered role, as a Technical Engineer, Cloud Engineer Consultant, Senior Software Engineer, Operations Engineer, or in a related occupation.
• Four years of experience with systems design, management, architecture, and development lifecycle; infrastructure lifecycle; IT Service Management; infrastructure design technologies; and industry, vendor, server/client, and virtual technologies.
• Two years of experience with Azure, Ansible, Terraform, DevOps, and GitLab.
• Experience with system design and development for complex applications, data management and interchange, industry-standard implementation approaches, and technical engineering.
