Senior Application Systems Manager (Data Management)

Location: Lisbon, hybrid; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: €4,830–€5,670 monthly on a B2B basis, or €2,500–€2,850 net monthly on a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of business applications, including operational stability, incident management, and lifecycle updates.
• Drive infrastructure and application obsolescence remediation, including roadmap ownership, CVE fixes, and software upgrades.
• Maintain documentation, implement improvement procedures, and oversee release management.
• Coordinate with development teams to track, open, and resolve tickets while challenging solutions to improve performance and stability.
• Manage VBA corrections and backup duties on Tango (TKS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to steer application solutions and ensure process integration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application ownership or management roles within complex environments.
• Strong expertise in Datastage v11.7, Oracle v19, SQL, Shell Script, and VBA.
• Ability to analyze functional specifications, troubleshoot incidents, and perform functional analysis across multiple applications.
• Exposure to DevOps and ITDS tooling ecosystems.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading technical teams.
• French at C1 level.
• Communicative English; the role requires collaboration in French and English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.
