Database Administration (Microsoft Windows Server)

Location: Porto Salvo, Lisbon, Portugal; partially remote

What you will do

• Configure, install, maintain, and optimize database management systems.
• Manage user access and implement security policies to protect data and infrastructure.
• Conduct capacity planning and growth projections to support scalable systems.
• Coordinate database project plans with internal teams and implement performance and reliability improvements.
• Develop backup and recovery plans and support users and application developers with complex database issues.

Requirements

• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2016.
• Experience with VMware ESXi.
• Experience managing public or private cloud environments, especially migrations from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

Nice to have

• Automation experience, especially with Infrastructure as a Service.
• Vulnerability management experience.
• Experience with on-premises AD FS and Microsoft Active Directory or Azure Active Directory.
