TL;DR
Finance Business Controller Nordics (Finance/Accounting): Managing end-to-end finance processes for the Nordic organization, including accounting, month-end closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering with an accent on financial control, compliance, and performance management. Focus on analyzing deviations, improving finance processes through ERP, automation, and AI-based tools, and supporting a standardized Nordic Finance operating model.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal, at the Business Service office near Parque das Nações / Oriente; mobile work setup with regular travel within the Nordic region.

What you will do
- Own finance processes covering accounts payable, general accounting, month-end closing, reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, effective financial controls, and reporting to the parent company according to Nordic local GAAP.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management activities.
- Act as a Finance partner to managers across the Nordic organization and provide financial insights for business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate Finance processes, including contributions to ERP implementations and Finance system improvements.
- Help shape the Nordic Finance operating model through continuous improvement and value creation.
Requirements
- University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Profound experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or financial business partnering within a Nordic country.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management.
- Solid accounting knowledge, including financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Experience in a broad Finance role with end-to-end process responsibility.
- Experience with ERP systems and modern Finance tools.
- Fluency in Swedish or Danish and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Nordic region.
