Team Lead Social Media DACH (m/f/d)

Location: Remote within Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the UK or Poland. The company is remote-first, with the option to work abroad for up to 181 days and visit the Berlin Mitte office.

Salary: €52,000–€65,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Social Media Managers, including setting priorities, planning resources and coverage, onboarding, hiring plans, feedback and quality standards.
• Own social media KPIs and OKRs for DACH, define goals with global strategists, monitor dashboards, identify trends and report weekly on results.
• Translate global channel strategy into local content plans and ensure execution across DACH markets.
• Execute global campaigns locally, share market insights with global strategists and align goals with market and content teams.
• Monitor algorithm changes and new platform features, introduce new formats and initiatives, and build a test-and-learn culture.
• Remain hands-on with video formats for TikTok and Instagram and use AI and other tools to work more efficiently.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience leading a social media team, with measurable results.
• Experience coaching people and developing data-driven decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of social platforms and their algorithms, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Confidence with KPIs, dashboards and Google Analytics, plus experience running structured tests.
• Native German and business-level English.
• Experience leading across multiple markets.
• Hands-on experience producing video for TikTok and Instagram.
• Experience using AI tools in content creation, analysis or testing.
• A creative idea that measurably increased reach, traffic or conversion.
