Business Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery Leads to define, refine, and prioritize product requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business processes, and product knowledge-base materials.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, feedback sessions, and requirements reviews.
• Translate requirements into Jira epics, features, user stories, and tasks while maintaining a prioritized product backlog in Confluence.
• Work with UX/UI, engineering, data, and QA teams to define user journeys, workflows, test scenarios, validation approaches, and Agile delivery plans.
• Support AI-powered workflows, product releases, user adoption, rollout, and change management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on software development or digital product delivery projects.
• Experience working in Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or biomedical research domains.
• Practical experience supporting delivery of AI-powered applications or solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience collaborating with Product Management, UX/UI, Engineering, and QA teams, including across the end-to-end software development lifecycle from discovery through testing and release.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex or ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements review sessions, with excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI or Generative AI applications based on LLMs.
• Understanding of RAG, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and metadata management.
• Experience delivering data-centric products such as data catalogs, data discovery platforms, or scientific knowledge management solutions.
• Familiarity with clinical, preclinical, omics, biomarker, or real-world data.
• Understanding of data governance principles and AI solutions in regulated or controlled data environments.
• Experience supporting multiple products or workstreams simultaneously.
