Placement Year - UK&I PS Category Intern

Location: Hybrid role requiring the ability to live and work in the United Kingdom, with regular travel to the Reading Headquarters; other listed location: Glasgow, Glasgow City.

What you will do

• Analyse market and sales data and present results to sales managers, senior leadership teams, and the Category Director.
• Use data analysis tools to build product unit plans.
• Support category managers, product management, and finance management activities.
• Assist End User Sales teams with analysed data.
• Provide office-based support for Partner Sales teams, including online marketing, sales tools, and partner-channel communications.
• Attend local trade shows and partner shows and collaborate with sales and marketing teams across the UK and Europe.

Requirements

• This is a 13-month placement year opportunity running from July 1st, 2027, until July 31st, 2028.
• Enrolled in a degree programme that includes a placement year.
• Able to live and work in the UK as a hybrid worker, with regular travel to the Reading Headquarters.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
• Problem-solving ability and willingness to think outside the box.
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.

Nice to have

• Business Management, Economics, Finance, or Marketing-related degree courses are preferred but not essential.
