Analytics Engineer (Snowflake)

Location: Paris; fully remote work possible anywhere in France.

What you will do

• Build reliable, well-documented datasets and KPIs that help teams answer business questions independently.
• Enable teams to access and use data through Snowflake MCP, Snowflake, and BI tools.
• Collaborate with the Senior Data Analyst to improve documentation, data models, best practices, and self-service adoption.
• Partner with Data Engineering to improve warehouse performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Guide teams toward appropriate datasets and sources of truth for monitoring metrics and exploring data.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and work confidently with data.
• Hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Metabase, or Omni.
• Experience with modern data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Good working knowledge of Git and version-control best practices.
• Strong interest in AI and emerging analytics tools, especially their practical application to business and data challenges.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles, with an interest in reliable, scalable, and efficient data solutions.
• Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset, including the ability to turn ambiguous questions into clear, actionable steps.
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, understand their needs, and communicate technical concepts simply.
• Fluent English and fluent French.

• Experience with dbt.
