Company

hirify.global operates global supply chain, logistics, product systems, and digital experiences for its retail and ecommerce business.

What you will do

  • Design and optimize internal product lifecycle management and product information tools used to manage clothing and Home merchandise.
  • Translate complex business processes, technical requirements, and large volumes of information into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs.
  • Research internal users, conduct usability testing, and use evidence, data, and feedback to refine designs and inform product decisions.
  • Design consistent, accessible, data-rich interfaces, including system states, errors, dependencies, reporting tools, and data visualizations for buying and stock-management decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, architects, data specialists, operational users, and business stakeholders throughout the product-development lifecycle.
  • Maintain shared design patterns and component libraries, present recommendations, review delivered experiences, and own design work through implementation and go-live.

Requirements

  • A strong background in UX and UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating solutions to complex problems.
  • High proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, including rapid interactive prototypes showing workflows and micro-interactions.
  • Strong information architecture and interaction-design skills, with the ability to make complex systems clear and manageable.
  • Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • A good understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards, including WCAG.
  • A user-centred approach and the curiosity to understand unfamiliar systems, processes, and user needs.
  • Confidence working with technical teams and discussing requirements, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
  • Ability to use research, data, and user feedback to make evidence-based design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and independently drive work while staying aligned with the Product Systems programme and wider UX team.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing software products, enterprise platforms, internal tools, product information systems, or other complex digital services.
  • Alternatively, a strong ecommerce UX background with experience simplifying complex customer or operational journeys.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to create working or high-fidelity prototypes for stakeholder communication or development handoffs.

Culture & Benefits

  • Participation in the wider UX community, with knowledge sharing and contributions to design practices, standards, and culture.
  • Hands-on exposure to design systems, product architecture, and internal processes during transition into the team.
  • 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pension contributions, life assurance, and private health insurance.
  • Profit-related bonus, Sharesave scheme, staff discounts, salary finance, Wagestream, and national and local discounts.
  • Free parking, onsite dining, workplace wellbeing services, onsite GP and physiotherapy at Leicester Head Office, and free eye testing.
