Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid remote/office in Erlangen, Berlin, or Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany.

What you will do

• Build scalable, high-quality applications with React and TypeScript.
• Design intuitive interfaces for AI agents, large language models, and automated workflows.
• Create reusable components and contribute to frontend standards.
• Connect applications with AI services, enterprise APIs, and SAP systems.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing delivery within an Agile team.
• Collaborate with product, UX, AI, and backend teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building large-scale web applications and integrating REST APIs.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, testing, and Git workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, English communication, and teamwork skills in international environments.

Nice to have

• Backend development experience with Java, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.
