Sr. Supply Planner - Inverters (Power Electronics): Converting approved finished-goods demand into a 52-week component supply plan for inverters, including capacity validation, supplier commitments, allocations, and supply-risk visibility with an accent on long-lead components, contract manufacturers, and project delivery. Focus on reconciling multi-tier supply constraints, quantifying gaps and customer impact, coordinating recovery actions, and standardizing commodity planning governance.

Location: Madrid, Spain; onsite role.

Company

Develops integrated clean-energy technology and digital solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain a 52-week component demand and supply plan for inverters, including Level 1 components and selected Level 2 sub-assemblies such as PCBAs and power modules.
  • Translate finished-goods demand into component requirements and reconcile it against supplier and contract-manufacturer capacity, lead times, inventory, and open commitments.
  • Identify long-lead items, material and capacity gaps, allocation constraints, and risks affecting production, delivery dates, customer commitments, revenue, or cost.
  • Develop allocation recommendations and coordinate decisions with Sourcing, Demand Planning, Delivery Managers, leadership, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and NPI on BOM changes, part readiness, substitutions, qualifications, and supplier or contract-manufacturer ramp-up.
  • Lead weekly commodity planning, S&OP support, KPI tracking, risk and decision logs, reporting standards, escalation thresholds, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • 8–12 years of experience in supply planning, commodity planning, master scheduling, materials planning, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Experience managing multi-tier supply chains, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and long-lead components.
  • Strong understanding of demand and supply planning, capacity management, MRP principles, inventory, lead times, and supplier commitments.
  • Experience with BOMs, part-level demand, engineering changes, and supply constraints in a project-based environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert complex data into clear decisions and actions.
  • Advanced Excel and planning-system capability; clear communication with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions constructively, drive accountability, work independently, stay structured, and operate in a fast-paced global environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in power electronics, inverters, electrical equipment, solar, semiconductors, automotive, or complex industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience with Anaplan, ERP/MRP systems, and Power BI.
  • APICS/ASCM certification.
  • Other European languages.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work within a global clean-energy technology environment focused on utility-scale solar power infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with worldwide teams across supply planning, engineering, sourcing, delivery, manufacturing, and leadership.
  • Contribute to data-driven planning, advanced automation, reliability, and faster project delivery.
