Technical Project Manager (KYC)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; flexible work from home or the Bucharest office.

What you will do

• Coordinate large and complex strategic changes across Tribes, Squads, countries, domains, and internal and external co-makers.
• Lead the rollout of Global KYC Digital Services across one or more business lines and act as the global representative and country-facing point of contact.
• Support the development, implementation, communication, and roadmap execution of the Global KYC Digital Service Platform.
• Plan projects, engage the right teams and stakeholders, manage dependencies, monitor progress, and improve delivery predictability in an Agile organization.
• Align business executives, senior management, stakeholders, Tribes, and Squads around change direction, strategic themes, and rollout visions.
• Coordinate data flows supporting strategic monitoring solutions related to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, fraud, sanctions, and KYC compliance.

Requirements

• Technical background in data management or another technical area.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience coordinating strategic initiatives or programs.
• Experience in project and program management, including objectives and requirements facilitation, planning, delivery tracking, go-live, and hyper-care execution and coordination.
• People management, steering, and driving skills for both people and objectives.
• Strong communication, presentation, networking, influencing, collaboration, and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Ability to learn new content quickly, transfer knowledge, and apply a consulting mindset to abstract Data Management from current business-function operations.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing environment, inspire problem-solving, seek and provide feedback, and uphold the ING values of honesty, prudence, and responsibility.
• Advanced English.

Nice to have

• Experience in the banking industry.
• Experience with Data Management or Data Processing Products.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.
